I am preparing for the February exhibition. I will be showing one of my 100 piece pieces but will need to add 12 pieces from somewhere! This will give me the opporunity to prove my theory, that the grid will order no matter what else is going on.

So, to fit this space, I have to arrange my pieces on 2 lattices. I can do this 60" x 80" each or 70" x 80" each. If it is the 60" x 80" I would only use 96 of the pieces; if the 70 x 80, I would use 112. I am leaning to the 96 pieces or if the other, I will have one row of 16 pieces that do not necessarily match - maybe even from the set of paper pieces. This could also be interesting as it combines words.

Either way, I need to determine very quickly as the artist statement and image need to be in this week.

Or I could do two square lattices of 70" x 70" making a piece 70" x 140" If done this way, the border/background will be about an even 15" all the way around. And I would be using 98 pieces total. This might work the best as no pieces would need to be brought in from the outside.

Still have to determine about my studio fairly soon. The computer had about 150 spyware and adware programs installed - I removed them and then defragmented the drive. Hopefully this clears up the problem.

It is freezing in here today - no wonder I cannot work. Computer continually runs out of memory or something - ready to trash it because it keeps crashing.

I was so ambitious with the new year, ready to keep my studio, and sign for another 5 year lease. Today, i do not know.
